Traplet Unlimited Scale Fly-In on Sunday the 26^th September 2010 at Leisure Lakes

By agreement with Phil Kent, the July competition has been rescheduled for Sunday the 26th of September 2010.  This will be a Traplet Unlimited Scale Fly-In.  There will be flying judging only; i.e. no static judging.

Please book in between 0900 and 0930 (allowance for those having to travel long distances).  Proof of insurance will be required, along with BMFA ‘A’ minimum or LMA membership.  The Pilot Briefing will take place at 0945, and flying will commence at 1030 (or sooner if both judges and pilots are ready).  Entry is free, and refreshments including a barbeque will be available.

Traplet Scale Day 4^th July 2010 at Leisure Lakes

Southport MAC was due to host a Traplet Scale Day on behalf of Phil Kent, on Sunday the 4^th of July 2010 at its Leisure Lakes Flying Site.  Due to high winds on the day, this competition has been rescheduled to September; please see above.

SMAC Summer Shows

The 2009 SMAC annual Summer Model Air Show was held on Saturday and Sunday the 4^th and 5^th of July 2009.

SMAC's 2008 June Summer Model Air Show was cancelled due to the waterlogged condition of the beach.

Southport Air Shows

Each year, SMAC supports the full-sized Southport Air Shows.  SMAC will be supporting the 2010 Southport Air Show, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday the 18^th and 19^th of September 2010.  Click here for the official show site.
