I never liked Shi Wudu but I have to admit that he loved his didi with all his heart and that he just wanted to protect him even when it didn't seem like it, so I can't really hate him. But at this rate, I'm wondering how many heavenly officials are going to be left before this story ends, lol.

But it’s also bittersweet because he has spent so long having no bodily autonomy and never experienced the pleasures of love so he doesn’t express this to Hua Cheng obviously. Before he could utter another word, Hua Cheng grabbed him by the shoulders and leaned down into a kiss.

Whereas He Xuan has to live with Shi Wudu’s last words about how this revenge really means nothing because both brothers got to enjoy godly life for centuries and his family still will never come back. And it just makes me so sad when you realize how much he’s suffered even in something as small as this that he doesn’t know what the touch of someone who doesn’t want to hurt or use him feels like.

We have hualian going on an adventure where they are constantly wet, lost, and lacking power but I think they had a time of their lives! Yeah, I know he's actually kind of a villain, not my fault I like to collect poor little meow meows, but he has such a potential as a charachter. So many amazing scenes - the coffin scene every fanfic is written about, the make out session that's depicted on the cover, as well as so much horror and sadness when it comes to other characters. I just love how close they are getting but my favorite thing is how we get Xie Lian confessing that he has feelings for Hua Cheng to himself. I don't want to end this review on such a depressing note since despite tragic events this vol was actually really funny, so how about a badass Xie Lian moment.But another one of the Four Calamities may be closer than anyone knows, and even a ghost as powerful as Hua Cheng can lose control under the right circumstances. I was just so happy to see what I thought were girlfriends and then later on what I thought were boyfriends.
